Safety

The commitment to safety is a top priority on all Raimondo Construction projects. Safety is an integral part of our values, and all employees are expected to be responsible for the safety of not only themselves and their co-workers but our partners and the public around our job sites as well.

Certifications

All jobsite foremen are OSHA 10 certified. This 10-hour class is intended to provide workers with an awareness of common job-related safety and health hazards. All employees must have a current drug free certification cards. Employees who operate or transport equipment are required to carry health cards.

Visit the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) website for more information on OSHA regulations and data related to worker safety.

Tool Box Meetings

Weekly Tool Box meetings are held at job sites with Raimondo and subcontractor personnel. At these meetings, safety issues specific to the job are discussed along with other general safety topics. Minutes of these meetings are recorded and turned into the office. Many of these topics and issues are then further discussed at quarterly safety meetings attended by the safety committee, which is comprised of on-site and management personnel.

Safety Manual

Raimondo Construction has developed a safety manual which contains all necessary safety procedures, forms and checklists. This manual is on each job site and is utilized by the job site foreman. In addition, there is a Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) manual for each project.
